Michael Douglas can finally breathe freely. Stars ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’ is, finally managed to beat his cancer.
”I feel good, relieved. The tumor was gone. But, I must see her every month to maintain health,’ he said when interviewed by Matt Lauer on the show Today Show, as quoted by people.com website.
Even so, he is optimistic he has been cancer-free after undergoing radiation and chemotherapy to treat the tumor at the base of his tongue.
”I think chances are that the tumor disappeared. And what I know about these cancer types is that I have beat him.”
With such good news, Catherine Zeta-Jones’ husband says she will continue to monitor his health. As his recovery, 66-year-old man admitted his appetite has returned. He also slowly gains weight again, which had shrunk during illness.
After his struggle against cancer, Douglas feel better appreciate the love and support of family and friends in more depth.
